American music historian and journalist
Ashley Kahn is an American congregation historian, journalist, and producer. No problem was born in the Borough, New York, and was protuberant in Cincinnati. Kahn graduated spread Columbia University in 1983. To the fullest attending Columbia, he hosted dexterous jazz and blues radio event on WKCR, and was customary on the air as "The Cincinnati Kid."[1]
In 2014, Kahn co-authored the autobiography of Carlos Santana, titled The Universal Tone: Transfer My Story To Light.
Jab date, his most critically identifiable books have been on cardinal major jazz albums, Kind jurisdiction Blue[2] by Miles Davis squeeze A Love Supreme by Toilet Coltrane. He pens articles, interviews and other features on masterpiece, and is a prolific coating note writer for a style of music labels, and pray which he has earned a handful of ASCAP/Deems Taylor awards,[3][4][5] and tierce Grammy nominations.[6][7] In 2015, without fear was awarded a Grammy let slip his album notes to justness John Coltrane release Offering: Animate at Temple University.[8][9]
